Ustadh Ameer Al-Maliki

Biography:

Shaykh Ameer E. Al-Maliki was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, he currently serves as Imaam at All Boys Academy (ABA) which is the first all boys Islamic High School in the Maryland area which is dedicated to teaching Islamic Sacred Knowledge as well as Secular studies to our male youth. Imaam Ameer set out on his journey to acquire Islamic knowledge in 2007 in which proceeded to obtain numerous certifications in many fields of islamic knowledges . He currently serves as Imaam and instructor at Dar An Nur Academy which is an Online Academy dedicated to teaching entry level education primarily in the jurisprudence of Maliki Fiqh. He has studied sacred knowledges with numerous Scholars in areas such as:

Fiqh, Comparative Fiqh, Usul Al Fiqh, Usul Al Hadith, Aqeeda, Quran Exegesis, Hifth of Quran, Comparative Religion, Tajweed and Arabic grammar to name a few, in which he has taken great joy majoring in the science of fiqh. He currently holds certifications in the sciences of Dawah, Quran Memorization and Recitation, Hadith and Aqeeda. He is currently teaching Islamic studies to his community in hopes to assist in debunking many of the misunderstandings that is surrounding Islam. Imaam Ameer still resides in Baltimore, Maryland with his wife and children where he is currently still furthering his Islamic studies with his main teacher Mu'alim Shaykh Mustafa Adaam

Ustadh Ali Ali

BIOGRAPHY:

Shaykh Ali Ali was born in St. Louis, Missouri and raised in Danville, VA and Baltimore, MD. He began his studies at an early age in the science of tajweed and Hifth of Quran in which he majored in these sciences under the tutelage of Sis. A’isha Rasheed and his mother Sister Janaab Webb. He continues to study ilmu Tajweed as well as other sciences of the deen such as fiqh according to the Maliki school of Jurisprudence , His goal is to master all different riwayats of the Quran in which he has obtained ijazaat in the riwaya of Hafs and is currently pursuing his ijaza in the riwaya of Warsh which is the recitation of the School of Madina AKA the Maliki Madhab.. He currently resides in Brooklyn, New York where he is still helping the community understand the importance of how to properly recite the Quran.

• Accepted to Al Azhar in Cairo Egypt in 2003

• Ijaaza to lead jumu’ah prayers at Masjid Iqamatideen

• Ijaaza in the Tajweed (recitation in Warsh An Nafi) by Abdur Rahman Al Khattab

Ustadh Yusuf Yasin

BIOGRAPHY:

Shaykh Yusuf Yasin is the son of converts. He studied Hanafi jurisprudence, Quranic exegesis, hadith, and other branches of Islamic knowledge at Darul Uloom Trinidad & Tobago. He graduated top of his class in 2010 and went on to get his undergraduate in English Literature from Central State University in Ohio, graduating Cum Laude. He currently resides in Virginia where he teaches and performs other services.
